Early ice sailing on Lake Winnebago bays

December 5, 2018

Late November ice let sailors play early this year on Lake Winnebago’s Millers Bay, located about 10 miles (16 km) from the WISSA 2019 race site. Early December temperatures should help to add plenty of reinforcement, with the main lake ready to freeze over completely.
